How CARDAN Technologies (Pty) Ltd handles information connected to Laundry Guru, including account access, support, and operational laundry records.

Overview

Laundry Guru is operated by CARDAN Technologies (Pty) Ltd. We process information to provide laundry tracking, account access, support, security, and operational records.

Laundry Guru is software only. It does not physically handle laundry items.

Information we may process

  • Account details such as name, email address, role, and team or property association.
  • Operational records such as laundry items, garment and care-label photos, owners, rooms, care instructions, notes, statuses, assignments, delivery records, and audit history.
  • Support communications sent to support@cardantech.co.za.
  • Subscription status and transaction identifiers used to provide paid workspace access. Apple handles App Store payment details; the app does not receive your payment-card number through StoreKit.
  • Technical information such as account and installation identifiers, device and operating-system information, app interactions, subscription events, performance measurements, crash reports, and nonfatal errors.

Operational record context

Laundry Guru may store records about garments, linen, rooms, owners, due dates, statuses, delivery notes, and handover history. Customers and authorized users are responsible for entering accurate operational information.

How we use information

We use information to operate the product, maintain account access, support users, troubleshoot issues, protect the service, keep records, and meet legal or operational obligations.

Analytics and diagnostics

We use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand usage and investigate reliability problems. Usage and diagnostic records may be associated with your Laundry Guru account; they are not necessarily anonymous. We use app analytics for usage and reliability, not to personalize advertising.

Google Analytics and Google Sign-In may derive general location from internet connection information. This is different from access to your precise location through a phone location permission. Authentication providers may process profile and technical information to provide sign-in and prevent fraud.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers that help operate Laundry Guru, when required by law, or when needed to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, customers, CARDAN Technologies, or the service.

Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate legal, billing, security, support, or operational record purposes.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security, so users should protect account access and report suspected unauthorized use promptly.

Your choices

You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of account information. Some records may be retained where required for legal, billing, security, or operational reasons.
